I have been told that writing only about the business is a real put-off, but that seems to be where I am usually headed, in my posts.
So.....forgive me for not posting that often and for telling you about the latest news of the business, when I do.
Here's the latest: We now have a Colonial Christmas tour that is beginning on Saturday the 28th at 2pm. It will run for 5 weekends, finishing up on the 26th of December.
Reservations must be made in advance (on the website) or you may call to see if there are at least 5 people, total, who will be attending. If you still want to take the tour, and there are less than five signed up, you are welcome to go ahead and do so, if you care to pay the fee for 5 guests ($100).
If you would like to request an alternate date and time for a Christmas tour, that is also available. Just be certain to have 5 guests, or, again, to pay for five.
This Christmas tour is very interesting. Though you can go and see the decorations, on your own, this tour will give you all the fun facts about how Christmas was celebrated in the 18th century and all the information that just looking at the decorations does not reveal.
I hope you will be able to join us for one of these fun, informative tours, during this exciting season in Williamsburg.Merry Christmas to all! Bonnie
